EAW Fairey Battle France 1940

The Fairey Battle was employed as the main RAF bomber used by the AASF in France 1940 at the time of the German invasion. Although obsolescent, the brave RAF crews flew unstintingly against German columns and captured bridges. And in the process were slaughtered. Almost the entire AASF force of Battles was destroyed in France and it was never used as a frontline aircraft again.

I created this new 3dz model for Dom and Emil's Attack In The West 1940 campaign and it is also available in the game download. I started with a stock Hurricane 3dz and then re-designed it into the Battle. The skin is also mine.

Woolfman created the cockpit for the Battle, which is included here.

You can use this model either in AITW1940 or with Charles Gunst's ECAPanel. To use simply place the 3DZ and TPC files in your EAW folder.

Cheers
